Meet Daina...
Daina is a compassionate Registered Psychotherapist, with a background in supporting clients during major life transitions and change, grief and bereavement counselling.
Daina supports individuals, couples, and families navigate the complex emotions of grief and loss, helping them work towards healing and resilience.
In her sessions, Daina creates a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for clients of all backgrounds, offering the freedom to explore with her client to build a strong and trusting relationship. Her trauma-informed care ensures every client, and their loved ones, feels heard, supported, and empowered.
Daina tailors her therapeutic approaches to meet clients needs and includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Daina Colburne is a Registered Psychotherapist (#007048) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Theological Studies from Regis College, University of Toronto, an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Lakehead University, and a Certificate in Couple and Family Therapy Studies from the University of Guelph. She is an Associate Member of the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) and continues to develop her skills through ongoing education.
