Meet Vanshika...
...An empathetic Psychotherapist nurturing empowerment among her diverse clients who experience symptoms of anxiety, cultural identity struggles, or personality disorders so they may experience increased self-confidence, calm and clarity in their lives.
Vanshika’s current focus is providing support for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional disturbances and stress. Clients would describe her approach as warm, friendly and welcoming.
She aims to provide a safe space and comfortable environment where clients feel heard and understood. With additional training in somatic therapy, she is able to guide clients towards bodily awareness, releasing trauma and stress, as well as understanding the mind-body connection.
With a profound understanding of the intricacies of cultural identity and awareness of the struggles encountered by marginalised groups, she serves clients from all backgrounds with empathy and compassion. Her ongoing training and integration of dialectical behavioural therapy helps her to understand the struggles of individuals with bipolar disorder, eating disorders and borderline personality disorder. She helps to guide clients with mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
As someone with multiple years of experience in the healthcare field, working as a Medical Assistant and Psychotherapist, Vanshika has a deep understanding of creating and implementing treatment options. She has worked closely with individuals with various struggles including grief, life transitions, health concerns, and work-life balance.
